Robyn Lawley looks uncomfortable at Teen Choice Awards in stilettos

It's not always easy being in vogue and Robyn Lawley's feet appeared to be suffering for the sake of fashion at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

The 26-year-old model looked stunning in a yellow lace Alex Perry dress, and while her strappy stilettos perfectly matched her ensemble, they appeared to be pinching her feet.

Robyn's toes also looked mighty uncomfortable as she posed for the cameras on the red carpet.

Regardless of the ill-fitting footwear, Robyn was ray of sunshine in her bright dress as she attended the event at University of Southern California's Galen Center.

The outfit expertly showcased her stunning curves and fit her body like a glove.

The summery frock featured a bow at the bust and fell just below her knees and she let the dress do the talking by wearing no accessories and her brunette locks down and tumbling around her shoulders.

Meanwhile, a red lip added a additional hue to the one colour ensemble.

The Sports Illustrated beauty was in the running to win the Top Model award and was up against the likes of Hailey Baldwin, Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Karlie Kloss.

Robyn was clearly excited when she first found out about the nomination back in July.

She announced the news on her Instagram account, writing: 'Holey moley. I'm up for #teenchoicemodel ....and my competition is pretty damn fierce so I'm happy enough to be included with these fine ladies!!! (sic).'

Meanwhile, Five Seconds of Summer, who had the best odds of taking home the token surfboard prize with five nominations including Choice Male Hottie and Choice International Artist, also lost out.

Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea missed out on the Choice Music: Female Artist prize to Taylor Swift and was beaten in the Choice R&B/Hip Hop category by rapper Wiz Khalifa.

Her single with Britney Spears, Pretty Girls, was nominated in two categories but teen voters stuck with the Taylor Swift/Kendrick Lamar collaboration for Bad Blood.

Aussie actress Rebel Wilson was also unlucky, beaten by her Pitch Perfect 2 co-star Anna Kendrick in the comedy actress category.

Her chance at winning best 'liplock' was also dashed by Shailene Woodley and Theo James from The Divergent Series.

Hemsworth brothers Liam and Chris were nominated for best actor in their roles in The Hunger Games and The Avengers but American teenagers favoured Hunger Games actor Josh Hutcherson.

Actress Rose Byrne cannot claim to be the best villain, after American teens voted in favour of Bella Thorne in The Duff.
